Should the diabetic child who feels ill in a lesson be allowed to test blood sugars in a classroom full of peers?

- Room with a fridge and each diabetic child should have a key and access at all times when they need to go for
- Fridge thermometer. Show the children how to check the fridge temperature every time they use the fridge, this also gives them a sense of responsibility. Also the child should be educated on who to contact if the fridge temperature is incorrect. A responsible adult will also have to supervise the fridge temperature check daily.
- Cleaning materials and suitable bio-waste bin. This will need to be regularly emptied and scheduled into the rota
